We love

Adrenaline-filled adventure, world-class museums, and some of the most spellbinding scenery Britain has to offer. From cool capital Cardiff to the snow-capped peaks and action sports of Snowdonia, there’s a lot going on in Wales. With five designated areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three National Parks, you can wander through landscapes straight from a fairy tale, spot native seals and fluffy puffins along 870 miles of accessible coastal path, or explore 3,000 miles of cycle paths. And with more than 600 historic castles, including six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, an incredible foodie scene, and a lyrical language that’s as beautiful as the country itself, you’ll find it’s cracking for culture buffs too.

Where is Wales?

Small in size but big on personality, Wales is bordered by England to the east and the Irish Sea to the north and west, and covers less than a tenth of Britain.
