And with more than 600 historic castles, including six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, an incredible foodie scene, and a lyrical language that’s as beautiful as the country itself, you’ll find it’s cracking for culture buffs too.

Small in size but big on personality, Wales is bordered by England to the east and the Irish Sea to the north and west, and covers less than a tenth of Britain.

Getting around Wales
